The 2012 Gloria Ferrer Spectacular Sparkling Cocktail Contest

What is this SPECTACULAR contest?

A quest to find the best cocktail using Gloria Ferrer Sparkling Wines.

You will be provided well liquor (Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, Tequila) and Gloria Ferrer Brut (so, use the Brut).

ANYTHING you need to create your best drink outside of these you will need to: provide on your own (your secret ingredients [we can't provide secret ingredients because they're secret]).

You only need to make enough for the judges.  They may ask you to make another round to determine a winner.

Although you will be coming off the stage and going directly to Gloria Ferrer, there are no rounds. The judges will be picking the best drinks overall. The first 4 they taste might be the best, or the last 4... This is totally subjective and completely up to Gloria Ferrer and their judges.

Who can participate?

The Glorious Gloria Ferrer contest is open only to bartenders participating in The 2012 "Battle" on stage contest. This does not mean you cannot use other's recipes. Contestants will make and present the best, most original drink they have in their bag of tricks.

If you have two contestants, each may make and present their drink.

The judges would prefer each team present one drink, so they don't lose consciousness, but should you feel the need to present two, they will each be judged.

Who will judge?

The judges will be picked by Gloria Ferrer.

What are they looking for?

Simply put, the best, most original, creative and great tasting cocktail featuring Gloria Ferrer Brut.  One with The WOW factor.

What do we win?

1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place 

Why are we doing this?

To support our community and these great organizations who give back to "our" community!
